The Old Man and the Sea is a novel written by Ernest Hemingway. It is really an amazing work of fiction. Santiago, an old fisherman, had gone 84 days without catching a fish. On the eighty-fifth day, finally, he caught a large martin. Through he won the battle with the martin, the sharks ate almost all the fish on his way to the port. But the old man was not depressed. It is the most touching part for me. Santiago taught me never give up even in the most difficult situation.
